PORTUGUESE CHRONO-AUTOMATIC WITH BRILLIANT-CUT DIAMONDS
A watch with a great tradition and a sublime stylistic appeal, the Portuguese Chrono-Automatic is now featured with brilliant cut diamonds. One of IWC's most refined mechanical chronograph and of a 41mm diameter case, the Portuguese Chrono-Automatic is increasingly frequently seen on female wrists, in spite of its size. These new star-studded timepieces from Schaffhausen are available in two case materals: white gold and gold rose, rimmed with 31 brilliant-cut flawless diamonds on the inner ring. Whereas the white gold variant with its slate grey dial and setting represents understated style; the rose gold variant with black dial and the fire of gemstones is a vivacious beauty. The timepiece with a stopwatch function and a 30-minute counter is wound by the automatic movement. The anti-reflective sapphire glass of hardness grade 9 is as tough as the flawless diamonds that light up the Portuguese Firework.
DA VINCI LADYLIKE AUTOMATIC
This Da Vinci Automatic celebrates a dainty and glamorous image for ladies with new dial colours and a firework of sparkling diamonds. The pink colour tones set a young feminine accent from its pink dial, rose gold hands and numerous and pink satin strap. On its rose gold case and strap lug, the jewellers have set around 106 sparkling brilliant diamonds. Its new elegant tonneau shape is perfectly proportioned for small wrists as well.
THE PORTUGUESE TOURBILLON MYSTERE
The "Schaffhausen Tourbillon" remains the most beautiful and the most exclusive of watch complications. Now, in combination for the first time with the iconic Portuguese watch and the renowned Pellaton seven-day automatic movement for IWC, it is indeed a sensation. The new Portuguese Tourbillon Mystere has become the most delicate secret of haute horlogerie. Uniquely presented as a "living twelve" at the visual focal point of the dial, the mystery tourbillon appears to move freely in space against a black background and entirely independently of any other drive elements. This elevation of the tourbillon to the most mechanical secret known to the world of watchmaking is justified by its strictly limited exclusivity in a 18-carat rose gold case, fully decorated with diamonds.
IWC
IWC has been religiously practicing the fine art of watchmaking in Schaffhausen for 140 years. The fascination and challenge of manufacturing classical, timeless products while remaining at the forefront of the industry in design and technology have been the driving force behind numerous impressive achievements. Dub the ‘Engineers of fine watchmaking for men', its motto, ‘Probus Scafusia’, meaning “the good and solid craftsmanship of Schaffhausen” is still stamped on all IWC watches today. This year, IWC turns into even more exclusive horological works of art.
