TOURBILLON WITH THREE GOLD BRIDGES
The movement known the world over as the Tourbillon with three gold Bridges was patented in 1884 and designed by Constant Girard. The three bridges holding the movement parts were re-designed in arrow shapes and set in parallel, aligning the barrel, train wheel and tourbillon in the same axis. Far from a technical and functional element, it has since become the trademark for Girard-Perregaux.
The exclusive edition is specially treated with white or pink gold. The round case, 39mm in diameter is set with more than 300 diamonds that glorifies the magnificence of the three gold bridges. Over 3.5 carats of diamonds were carefully cut and set to hug the geometry of its case. A startling blue dial and rubies on 6' and 12' are special touches of colours. Beauty and technical virtuosity has certainly combined for a master timepiece that is truly magical.
