ADMIRAL'S CUP COMPETITION 40
CORUM pays tribute to the feminine spirit of the sea with the Competition 40 — a new model imbued with an aura of sporting elegance. Shimmering reflections of the Mother-of-pearl dial echoes the movement of the waves. The bezel, in red gold like the case, is set with 66 diamonds surrounded by a vulcanized rubber protection (total 0.924 carats). Arabic numerals carved from 18K red gold mark off five-minute intervals. The numerals and the hour and minute hands are coated with a luminescent substance for perfect night-time readability. The Competition 40 is powered by a self-winding CO-082 movement with a 42-hours power reserve. Brand distinctive characteristics include seconds hand featuring a counterweight shaped like the CORUM symbol; hours represented on the flange by 12 traditional patented nautical pennants; and the Admiral's Cup trophy reproduced on the back case.
ADMIRAL'S CUP TOURBILLON 48
With its twelve-sided case exuding a definite sense of strength and sophisticated lines, the Admiral Cup collection has asserted itself as an icon among sports watches. This sporting spirit is extended into the prestigious circle of haute horlogerie with CORUM’s creation of the Admiral Cup Tourbillon 48. The 48mm pink gold case dazzles with 586 round brilliant diamonds and its bezel brightens with 48 baguette diamonds. The 18-carat crown protector sparkles with 76 round brilliant diamonds and the pink gold crown engraved with the CORUM key logo is embellished with 32 round brilliant diamonds.
Understated elegance is achieved through luminous pink gold surfaces to where brilliant round and baguette diamonds are embedded in to create a luxurious look. Unique to this design is the 12 nautical pennants that represent the hour hand engraved on the 18k fitted flange that is set with 60 round brilliant diamonds and 40 round brilliant black diamonds. Its carriage, held by a horizontal bridge, bears the famous CORUM key symbol. Placed at 6 o'clock, this signature touch echoes the two other openings cut out in the plate at 12 and 3 o'clock respectively, providing fascinating glimpses of the gleaming gear trains.
The exclusive CO-372 CORUM movement flaunts all the prime assets of a luxury "engine". Endowed with a 90-hour power reserve supplied by a single barrel, this calibre beats at a speed of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The skill and patience required to craft Admiral's Cup Tourbillon 48 is the reason why few of these watches are made in a year.
